The party planning has started for Zara's Princess and Knights Birthday. And here is a look at the lovely invitation. This is the "girlie" version and tomorrow I will share the boy one. Afterall, no boy really wants such a pink piece of paper!

GOODIES - Sky Lanterns
best day ever?
I hate New Years Eve! There is always this build up and I believe unfounded notion that it is the party of the year. I don't know about you but I have never had an amazing New Year's and pretty much I am tucked up in my bed by 12h05.
But this year, I think it is actually going to be lots of fun as my sister and brother are in town, and if our last party is anything to go by, it is going to be great: I had brought along sky lanterns and the kids watched Rapunzel and then let them go into the evening sky - pure magic. So all I need to do is stock up on some more and make sure I know where the matches are!

GOOD CHEER - Christmas 2012
i love ikea
So every year I visit ALL of the stores to enjoy their Christmas displays and add to my ever growing collection of Christmas goodies. However, only today did I realise my big mistake. I always left IKEA to last and usually headed there in November or December only to be bitterly disappointed at what was on offer. Now, I have realised that you have to get their early, and when I say early I mean even today the 4th October was too late as some very cute items were already sold out!
But here are a few photos of some of the goodies I picked up. And from now IKEA will be first on my wish list...
