IN GOOD HANDS - Potted Plant Favours

Our washi tape idea today is a keeper. Basically, it is too easy for me even to warrant a "tutorial" but the idea is to decorate plain white little pots with coloured tape to match the party or recipient's favourite colour and then include a little miniature seedling or cacti/succulent inside. And if you are looking for a cost effective option these little pots and plants from IKEA will do the trick as both table centrepieces and party favours in one.

Make an Easter Paper Chain with a new spin by following the old tradition of using the paper chain to countdown days by tearing off one link for each day. The Easter Paper Chain Kit is a great way to help little ones manage the seemingly endless wait until Easter Sunday, and definitely provides more fun than crossing off days on the kitchen calendar.
Each kit comes with 50 perforated paper links that feature colourful printed designs on both sides, so you are able to make two chains or use one for decoration.
And if you want to be a "rebel", let the kids count up, not down, adding a link to the chain each day so it can be used as a Easter decoration when it's done.
p.s. individual links also make great loops to slot napkins into, or wrap around bud vases.

Our Washi Tape in a Jar competition was a huge hit, and there were lots and lots of guesses but no one guessed that there were 41! Luckily, Ledia's daughter was super close at 41 and is going to go a little tape crazy!
